  • Technical information such as IP address and device/browser type, collected when you consent to text notifications for audit purposes.

Why We Collect Information

We collect information to operate the league: to schedule practices and games, to communicate with coaches and families, to maintain standings and records, and to send optional text notifications to coaches who request them.

How We Use Information

  • To create and manage practice and game schedules.
  • To contact coaches about their teams, fields, and league updates.
  • To send optional SMS text notifications to coaches who have affirmatively opted in.
  • To maintain historical records for league administration and compliance.

SMS Text Messaging

HCYSL collects mobile phone numbers from users who voluntarily enroll in text notifications. Mobile phone numbers and SMS messaging consent information are used to provide requested league and coaching communications. HCYSL does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text notification enrollment is completely optional and is not required to register, coach, book a practice time, or otherwise participate in HCYSL activities. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by adjusting your settings in the app.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or SMS consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with service providers (such as our text messaging carrier) who help us deliver communications you requested, and where required by law.

Data Retention

We retain SMS consent and opt-out records for compliance and audit purposes. Opt-out history is preserved even after you disable notifications, so we can demonstrate exactly what you agreed to and when you changed your preferences.
